William Jay Smith

William Jay Smith, 66 of Mesquite, Texas Celebration of Life Service will be held Monday, July 1, 2024, at 1:00 PM.  The Homegoing Service will be at Highland Terrance Baptist Church 3939 Joe Ramsey Blvd. * Greenville, Texas 75401.

Public Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 30, 2024, from 4:00 PM to 7 PM at Love & Integrity Funeral Services located at 4900 King Street * Greenville, Texas 75401.

William J. Smith was a loving Father, Grandfather, Brother, Uncle, Nephew and a dear friend.  He is survived by his adoring daughters, Sheena Smith (Nedric), and Leslie Okunubi (Ade); precious granddaughters Sloane Okunubi, Sunni Okunubi, and Stevie Okunubi; his loving sisters Jo Ann Bush (Ralph) and Cynthia Marie Barnes (Willie); & a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, family, and close friends. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Cleveland and Mary Joan Smith; his loving wife, Debra Jean Waters Smith and a brother Cleveland “Clev” Smith II.
