Sarah “Ms. Happy “ Washington, 84 of Rockwall, formerly of Greenville, departed this life on March 28, 2026. Her Celebration of Life will be Saturday, April 11, 2026, at 1:00 PM. The Homegoing Services will be at Bethlehem Baptist Church, 3802 Washington St., Greenville, Texas.  A horse-drawn carriage service will immediately follow the Service.  Meet Us At The Candy House, 
1518 Jones Street, Greenville, Texas.

Public Visitation will be held on Friday, April 10, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Love & Integrity Funeral Service
4900 King St., Greenville, Texas, and 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church, 202 Blackland Rd., Fate, Texas.

The beloved family of Mrs. Washington will also hold a special tribute to their mother following the service, traveling to her final resting place in front of her former home at 1518 Jones Street, Greenville, Texas, aka The Candy House. All family, friends, current and former Easthill families, come on out, let’s celebrate “Mrs. Happy”!

Her Earthly Resting Place will be Center Point Cemetery.  

She leaves to cherish her memories her 3 children: Retha Johnson, Sherina Washington-Samuel, and Tamera Washington, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, a host of other family and friends.
