Ruby Jewel Jones

Ruby J. Jones, 78, of Greenville, Texas, passed away on October 20, 2026. Her Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 31, 2026, at 11:00 AM.  The Homegoing Service will be at Full Gospel Holy Temple, 4321 Lee Street, Greenville, Texas, with Pastor Jimmy Caston, Eulogist, and Elder Ralph Sanders, Officiant.

Public Visitation will be held on Friday, October 30, 2026, from 10:00 AM  to 6:00 PM at Love & Integrity Funeral Service, 4900 King Street * Greenville, Texas 75401

She leaves to cherish her memories her husband of 58 years, Wilson Jones of Greenville, TX; daughter, Shawn Jones of Greenville, TX,  sons, Michael Jones (wife Tasha), Victor Jones of Frisco, TX, Chris Jones (wife Rebecca) of Greenville, TX, and Weedy Jones (wife Jessica) of Chicago, IL; 23 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren; her sister-in-laws, Connie Fletcher of Plano, TX and Devon Jeffery of Greenville, TX; brother-in-laws; Willie Fletcher and Nathaniel Jones of Dallas, TX and a host of other relatives and friends.

Preceded in death by: her son, Dionne Thursby Jones; Mothers: Lucy Bagsby Thursby and Maggie Boyd; Father, Ocie Thursby; Sisters: Girlene Richardson and  Aline Harrell. Brothers: Odis “O.T.” Thursby,  Willie B. Goodlow, Walter Ray Thursby, and Eddie Lee Thursby
