Philip Nathanael Clementson

Rev. Philip Nathanael Clementson age 75, resident of Greenville, Texas , went home to be in the arms of Jesus, January 7,2023 in Farmersville, Texas. He was born November 15,1947 in El Monte, California to John Emanuel and Alice E. Clementson. Philip attended schools in New Mexico when his family were missionaries to the Navajo & Pueblo Indians until his father passed away when he was 10 years old. Then his family moved to Texas and he graduated from Lampasas, Texas High School. He graduated with a B.S. degree from Southwestern Assembly of God University, then graduated with a Master's degree from Brite Divinity School at TCU. He pastored three Assembly of God churches in Texas and a Pentecostal Church of God in Greenville, Texas. He was a member of Crossroads Church in Greenville, Texas, where he was teaching an adult Bible Class. During his years he retired as a baker from H.E.B. and Albertson's grocery stores. Philip married Yvonne Drake in 1979 and divorced in 1989. Their son Timmy Clementson was adopted by his uncle and aunt in Atoka, Oklahoma. Philip is survived by his former wife Yvonne Brining in Virginia, Son; Timmy Clementson of Atoka, Oklahoma, brother, John Reuben Clementson; sister, Mary Alice Klepinger and husband Dennis, all in Atoka, OK. His niece; Esther Boston and husband Josh, their children; Hunter, Adrian, Hagen and Hadlee, and many dear friends. Philip was preceded in death by his parents, John and Alice Clementson; brother, Peter James Clementson (3 years old), and his sister-in-law; Peggy Huff Clementson. A memorial will be held at a later date. Please keep his family in your prayers.
