Larry Joe Grant, 65 of Caddo Mills, Texas departed this life on June 15, 2026.  A Celebration of Larry's Life will be held on Saturday, June 27, 2026 at 1:00 PM.  The Homegoing Services will be located at Church at River Oaks located 5903 Joe Ramsey Blvd N, Greenville, TX 75402.

Public Visitation will be held on Friday, June 26, 2026 from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM at Love & Integrity Funeral Service located at 4900 King Street, Greenville, Texas.

Larry Joe Grant, a true jack of all trades who wore many hats throughout his life, passed away peacefully June 15, 2026. He was born on November 17, 1960, in Henderson, Texas, to Oddie Mae Grant and Thomas James Alexander.

Larry accepted Christ at an early age, establishing a foundation of faith that guided him through life. He attended Caddo Mills Schools and went on to live a life defined by hard work, dedication, and a love for his community.

For over 20 years, Larry worked as a truck driver, though his talents extended far beyond the road. He was a skilled mechanic, poured concrete, and worked at the Co-op Gin in Farmersville, Texas, among many other trades. There wasn't much Larry couldn't fix or do. Outside of work, Larry was known for his vibrant spirit. He loved working on cars and trucks, fishing, and dancing. He truly never met a stranger, and he possessed a massive heart—always ready to lift a hand wherever and whenever it was needed.

Larry is survived by three sisters,  Arma Grant Brown of Greenville, TX; Mary Grant of Caddo Mills, TX; Pamela Davis of California; a stepson, Melvin Toliver of Greenville, TX; Six nephews: Lakeith Grant, Michael Grant, De’Marcus Grant, Jerome Grant, Daniel Brown and Tra’Mayne Brown; Five nieces, Olivia Grant, Jasmine Eubank, Brittany Brown, Dominique Brown and Sophia Brown ; one uncle Bobby Grant; a step grandson, Demtri Toliver and several great nieces and nephews.

Larry was proceeded in death by his mother, Oddie Mae Grant ; father, Thomas James Alexander, brother in law, Travis Lee Brown; stepson, Jerry Toliver; grandparents, Alzora and Albert Grant, S.D.and Nellie Alexander and several aunts, uncles and cousins
