JaShawn Davonta Pierre Alex, 27 of Dallas departed this life on June 15, 2021. His Celebration of Life Services will be held on Saturday, June 26, 2021, at 1:00 PM. The homegoing service will be officiated at Body of Christ Assembly located at 5001 Crozier Street, Dallas, Texas. His final resting place will be at Lincoln Cemetery-Dallas, Texas. VISITATION HAS BEEN CANCELLED - PER FAMILY'S REQUEST JaShawn Davonta Pierre Alex was born on April 29, 1994, in Greenville, Texas to the parentage of Bridget Alex and the late Bernard Johnson. He attended South Oak Cliff High School in Oak Cliff, Texas, and was a member of New Leaf Baptist Church in Dallas, Texas. JaShawn will be lovingly remembered by his children, JaShawn Alex Jr., Jaden Alex, Jreux Alex, Ja'Laeyah Alex, Jaeda Alex and Ja'Niyah Alex; his mother, Bridget Alex; his siblings, Octavious Alex-Huey, RayKwon Dennis, DreVeon Bernard Johnson, Jayle Alex, Bianca Johnson, Jalisa Phillips-Johnson and Shakeisha Spillman; his grandmothers, Mary Alex and Diane Johnson along with a host of other relatives and friends.
