Herbert Bailey

Herbert Bailey, 82, of Commerce, Texas, departed this life on April 19, 2026. His Celebration of Life Services will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at 1:00 PM.  The Homegoing Services will be at Wesley Chapel C.M.E. Church, located at 2100 Kennedy Street, Greenville, Texas 75401.

Public Visitation will be held on Friday, April 24, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM at Love & Integrity Funeral Service, located at 
4900 King Street,  Greenville, Texas 75401.


Those left to cherish his memories are his nine Children, Pamela Flanagan of Greenville, Texas, Vickie Bailey of Rowlett Texas, Herbert Bailey, Jr. (Rosie) of Commerce, Texas, David Bailey of Greenville, Texas, Kathy Bailey of Greenville, Texas, Keysa Bailey (Issac Stanfield) of Greenville, Texas, Quinsha Bailey of Sulphur Springs, Texas, Kenneth Bailey of Paris, Texas, Faith Bailey of Garland, Texas; 18 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Corine Phelps, Regine Kelley, Susan Bailey; a sister-in-laws, Earlie Mae Wilkerson & Minnie Pearl Bailey and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by: His wife, Margie Fae Walker Bailey, a granddaughter, Aishley Bailey Cohns, two brothers, Hubert and Herman Bailey, and four sisters, Hazel Mayberry, Ella Price, Lonzell Stiggers, and Silver Montgomery.
