Billy “Papa” Wayne Herron

 Billy “Papa” Wayne Herron, 78, of Wolfe City, Texas departed this life on February 6th, 2025.  His Celebration of Life will be on Saturday, February 15th, 2025 at 11:00 AM.  Mr. Herron's Homegoing Service will be at Ebenezer Baptist Church at 301 Spencer St Wolfe City, Texas.

Public Visitation will be Friday, February 14th, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM at Love & Integrity Funeral Services, 4900 King Street, Greenville, Texas.

He leaves to cherish his precious memories: his wife of 42 years, Patricia Herron; his sister Jeline Mason (Avery Sr.); his brothers Larry Leftridge (Regina), and Vernon Leftridge; his children Keith Cherry, Dana Cherry-McFarland (Ed), Chasity Cherry, and beloved child of the
heart, Kristen Hashaway Bell (James); his grandchildren, Mya Cherry, Kyara Cherry, Jada Cherry, Ashlee Robison, Joshua Cherry, Devious Cherry, Peyton Cherry, Allee Cherry-McFarland; and a host of other grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Bernice Leftridge and Mack Quilla Leftridge; his granddaughter, KeNiqua Cherry; his son, Billy Herron Jr.; his sister, Virginia Bradford; and his brother, Charles Burnett.

Billy will forever be remembered for his contagious laugh and will be deeply missed by his family.
